Painting with a Pit is a hands on workshop style event where you get to paint your own pet portrait with the help of an artist! 100% proceeds benefit local animal welfare organizations
that help animals in need.
So far Painting with a Pit has raised
$19,015 to help animals in our community.

About the Artist
Samm Epstein, owner of Samm Wehman Art has been both an artist and animal lover her entire life. She combines her two passions by creating her own original custom pet portraits and animal artwork. "Painting with a Pit" is a way for her to use her artist skills to fundraise for animals in need while encouraging creativity within the community. The name was inspired by her rescued pit bulls, who hang out with her when she paints in her art studio. The goal of each of her events is to save lives and fund animal care for local animal welfare organizations. Samm volunteers her time and skills so that every penny makes a difference.
